COVID-19 Update: The Camping events on this page are being updated often. The CSI Board is following state and local campground closures and the schedule is changed as needed. Please follow the guidelines published by the state public health departments. If you are not comfortable with being at a camp out you have registered for please remember to cancel your reservations (if any) with the campground and change your evite reservation to let the Host know you are not attending.

Cherry Creek State Park
Welcome to Denver’s natural and spacious backyard playground. There’s so much to see and enjoy. Summers are busy and action packed while off-peak times are quiet and laid back. Anchored around a 880 surface acre reservoir, the park offers a natural prairie environment of gentle, rolling hills and complete outdoor recreation facilities, including camping, picnicking and facilities for group events.

Chief Hosa

At an altitude of 7,700 feet, Chief Hosa campground opened in 1918 as “America’s first motor-camping area.” The campground spans 58 acres within the 2,400 acres of the City of Denver’s Genesee Mountain Park, which is home to a city-owned bison herd and provides a unique opportunity to view these animals in a natural habitat.
Peacful Valley

Peaceful Valley Campground is situated in a glacial valley, on the banks of the Middle Saint Vrain Creek at an elevation of 8,500 feet in northern Colorado. The campground has some conifer trees with open grassy areas.
Stillwater

Stillwater Campground is located on Lake Granby, six miles southeast of Grand Lake, in north central Colorado. Visitors enjoy the area for its great boating, fishing and hiking opportunities.
High Mountain Hayfever

Join us in the heart of the Wet Mountain Valley for this annual festival showcasing some of the country's most renowned bluegrass performers.
Located in the town of Westcliff Colorado.
Gore Creek

Gore Creek Campground is situated six miles east of Vail, Colorado, at an elevation of 8,700 feet and centrally located for recreation and relaxation in the White River National Forest.
Guernsey State Park, WY
July 25-30
Guernsey State Park is a 6,000 acre state park surrounding Guernsey Reservoir that provides a variety of water recreation, day use and overnight camping opportunities. The rugged and scenic landscape of the park offers scenic vistas and overlooks, hiking and biking trails, rock climbing and wildlife viewing opportunities. In addition to an unlimited number of outdoor recreation activities that can be found at Guernsey, the park is also a national historic landmark.
Lodgepole

Lodgepole Campground is a creekside destination with incredible Colorado mountain views. The campground is located 3 miles south of Jefferson Lake, one of the highest elevation lakes around, capping 10,685 feet elevation and bordered by steep 12,000 foot peaks. Fishing in both the creek and lake offer promising catches of trout.
Red Rocks Group Site

Red Rocks Group Campground is located 4 miles north of the town of Woodland Park, Colorado. Visitors enjoy the area for hiking, biking and visiting the nearby 5-acre Manitou Lake. This camp is free to CSI members and is paid for by CSI.
Elliot Creek

Located on the northwest shore of Green Mountain Reservoir, Many activities occur on the lake including fishing, motor boating, sailing, canoeing, and water skiing.
Golden Gate State Park

Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a Colorado State Park located in Gilpin and Jefferson counties northwest of Golden, Colorado. The 12,119-acre Front Range park established in 1960 has 42 miles of hiking trails. Horse and bicycle travel is allowed on 27 miles.
Odd Fellows

The CSI board will pick up the cost of the campground for our CSI members. The camp is located 10 miles west of Canyon City and has several recreational activities in the area: Hiking, fishing (10 miles south on Arkansas River), DeWeese Lake is not far away, games/sport equipment, bird watching, and wildlife are some of the Activities available in the area.
Kenosha Pass Dispersed

Kenosha Pass provides access to the Colorado Trail as it heads southeast towards the Lost Creek Wilderness and west towards the Continetal Divide and Jefferson Lake. The Colorado Trail starts outside of Denver and ends in Durango. It runs adjacent to the Kenosha Pass and Kenosha East Campgrounds. This is a dispersed camping area.
Clear Creek Dispersed

Nice campground In the San Isabel National Forest with roughly 20 sites in the trees and many more in the open. Most sites in the trees are right next to Clear Creek and the drive to Clear Creek Reservoir is about 5 minutes away. Right on the Colorado Trail.
